handa, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> we are working to gather more details about a suspicious package that was reported at city college. we're told the suspicious package is inside building seven. you're looking right now at video taken a short while ago by chopper 2. the school was evacuated and shut down as of four o -- 4:00 this afternoon. >>> we're hearing about a possible batch of drug laced brownnies that sickened several children. >> reporter: we're now told that many of those students are at home recovering. the school district says that only five students actually got sick today but some family members who were here at the emergency room at the hospital this afternoon say they think that number was closer to 15. it was not part of a lesson plan but family members say students shared marijuana brownnies during wood shop in hayward. >> she said she took a small piece off of it and it was being passed around in class. >> reporter: from the school they said that there were possibly other narcotic stuff involved inside the brownnie. >> reporter: palomino says that he rushed his s
that left three people wounded. ktvu have confirmed the san fransisco entertainment commission has issued a 72-hour emergency suspension for nightclub 330 ritch after gunfire erupted at the club near at & t park. police are still looking for the shooters. we learn about the chaos and violence that sent club goers scrambling. >> reporter: the gunfire broke out just before 1:30 this morning at a nightclub in san fransisco, south of market. >> everybody was screaming, people running in and out, blood on the floor in the club. people falling and getting stepped on. >> reporter: it started with an argument inside the 330 ritch club. one man pulled a gun and fired. brittany williams ran outside and hid behind a car to avoid being shot. >> terrified. i have a child to go home to. this was a girl behind me what to do. i said i have no idea. >> reporter: three men were shot all from the east bay and police expect the victims to survive. after the initial gunfire inside the nightclub, this dispute spilled out into the street where more shots were fired. and what police described to me as a rolling
, rob roth, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> one man is dead after a s.w.a.t. standoff shut down a vallejo neighborhood for several hours today. it started about 11:30 this morning. police received calls about a man armed with a rifle outside a home. after a 4 hour standoff the man pointed his weapon at officers who then opened fire. s.w.a.t. team found the man dead inside the home. police say they don't know yet if officers killed him or if he committed suicide. >>> in antioch police are investigating the killing of a 20-year-old man this afternoon. police say the victim was shot just before 12:30 at the intersection of west medil street and william reed drive. authorities have not released the victim's name. there are no suspects in custody. >>> trader joe's and whole foods announced they will boycott genetically engineered fish. this comes as the food and drug administration is deciding whether to approve a genetically engineered food. bay area shoppers we talked with had reactions. >> i think it's disgusting that it even exists. and i was very disappointed when people voted to -- that
